ArtCard the ‘postal service’ Art Project: Los Angeles, CA

Great news! ArtCard has finally started to gain momentum. The citywide mail art collaboration has attracted over one hundred and twenty artists from across Los Angeles and is showcasing artwork from twenty five different neighborhoods.

On September 25th the ArtCard project will be exhibited for the first time at the Youth Art & Media festival in South Los Angeles. It will be the project’s first major event and will showcase artwork from across the city in one giant collaborative art show.

We still need help distributing the cards. If you know of an organization (community art group, school, etc) that you think would be interested in participating please get in contact and I will make sure they get materials to participate.
